Mid-Evening, 5th April 2005: It is interesting that when we least feel like doing something, that is exactly the time we need to do it. I had been thinking of starting a new on-going story for Q&V for a little while now, and despite my tiredness, it seems today was the day it wanted to start. Today's issue is very artistic indeed! Surprised? I am too. Here's the first installment of Tale Of The Desert, ISSUE 113.
Late Afternoon, 3rd April 2005: It's been one of those lethargic days today. The highlight has been ordering a digital camera for myself! T-shirts will soon be for sale, and surely before long there'll be photos of people modelling them! Exciting stuff. And now, here's ISSUE 112.
Late Afternoon, 1st April 2005: OK! Today has been a busy computer day for me. I moved Q&V across to this slightly new address this morning, and launched the new abarefootman.co.uk site later in the day (do check it out!). Q&V are now part of something larger, but still retain their individuality with their site pretty much separate from my new one. Let my dedication be in no doubt, I have produced an issue today, as a bold statement that my new site will not take anything away from Q&V, I see it going on a long time to come. Congratulations Matt for your t-shirt victory! He has chosen Issue 71: Je Pense, Donc Je suis to go on it. Thanks again to everyone else who entered, you'll get a chance to win again real soon. And now, for I am tiring, here's ISSUE 111.
Mid-Evening, 30th March 2005: Late in the day today. Man am I tired. A late night and intense and frequent dreams does not appear to be conducive to feeling well rested in the morning. Still, I'm grateful for them, guidence is guidence. I'm dedicating today's issue to Paulo, I'm looking forward to playing a game with you again Bud. Here's ISSUE 110.
Mid-Afternoon, 28th March 2005: The competition has only got a few more days to go. It's been really good seeing some of your favourites, enjoying them all over again, they still make me laugh. Yes. It is good. If you haven't got your competition entry in, get cracking! You have until the 31st March! In other news, don't forget Q&V are moving to http://www.abarefootman.co.uk/qandv/ on April 1st, when my new site is launched in its place, with Q&V becoming part of the whole abarefootman.co.uk experience (though it'll still be fairly standalone, in the beginning at least). Rest assured, you'll be able to find Q&V easily enough from the new site too. Ok, news out! Here's ISSUE 109.
Mid-Afternoon, 26th March 2005: An unusually touching issue today. It is part of the totality of existance, to have these times, as well as humorous ones. In other special news, the expansion to the abarefootman.co.uk website has been coming along nicely. It'll be a work-in-progress, but it'll be ready enough to launch on April 1st, the day of fools. All journeys begin with the fool, the innocence not to know to be afraid, able to take risks a more "knowledgeable" person might not, so I think that is fitting. This will mean that on April 1st Q&V will be moving to a slightly new address: http://www.abarefootman.co.uk/qandv/ So make a note of it. Don't worry though, there'll be a link to it from the new website that'll be easy enough to find. Ok, so, that said, here's ISSUE 108.
Early Evening, 24th March 2005: Those of you who have been looking at the visits/page views counter I made may have noticed just how often it showed an unknown (???) value. The files kept getting reset so I had to update it manually to restore it to roughly the right value. I've now written a backup procedure, so if it does go blank, it will automatically copy across the backup. I'll see if it's worked out in a few days. In other news, once again it amazes me how far the comic has come, the sheer scale of issues that I've produced in a relatively short length of time. And speaking of time... here's ISSUE 107.
Early Afternoon, 22nd March 2005: Boy did I enjoy drawing today's issue, this made me laugh for a long time. Yes, I laugh at my own jokes, it ensures at least one person will ;) Here's ISSUE 106.
Early Afternoon, 20th March 2005: I've a couple of Links to share with you today. One is a comic I came across this morning, Cave Monster. The other is one I've been meaning to share with you for a while, lessons in Buddhism, brought to you through the medium of comic strip. That's Dharma The Cat. Just click the cartoons section. And now, here's ISSUE 105.
Early Evening, 18th March 2005: Today's issue is another example of how a good comic doesn't have to rely on skilled artistry alone (which is good, because few would accuse me of such a thing ;). In other news, there are some website developments in the works, an expanding of abarefootman.co.uk beyond Q&V alone. Perhaps it'll be nice for them, to be part of something bigger instead of being tossed about on the waves of the big wide web. This doesn't mean I'm any less enthusiastic about the comic, it actually means I've got yet more to say and express! And now, here's ISSUE 104.
