News

Early Afternoon, 27th October 2004: It's all gone a bit oriental today, so it seemed fitting to use Paulo's third guest issue. Pure genius it is, I think you'll agree. It's called Sublime Truth, for those of you who want to go straight there. Google has partially picked up the site now, so if for any insane reason a person searches for "abarefootman", they'll get the URL of the website (no description). Still, it does mean we're getting closer ;) And here's ISSUE 33.

Early Morning, 25th October 2004: I got an early start on things today, completely necessary as I'm off to the seaside today. I've made a change to the News section, so now it'll be split into pages rather than just one (increasingly huge) one. Questor and Viagron return today, so let's see what they've been up to... here's ISSUE 32.

Early Evening, 23rd October 2004: Q&V seem to be taking a break today, I guess not everyone wants to be the star of their own movie ALL of the time. Apologies for the minor problems the site has been intermittently experiencing over the past few issues, with news sometimes not loading or new issues not appearing despite being put on. I think there's something wrong with my ftp prog, it seems to be incredibly fickle. In other news, I tested a load of post-it note programs yesterday, looking for a way to save paper, particularly when most of the to-do's are computer related in some way. I decided on Memento. The talented guy who programmed it has a website with some other bits and bobs, including some amusing articles and rants. I've added that to the Links section, but why not go straight there. So, do ya wanna see what God gets up to when Questor and Viagron aren't around to amuse him? Here's ISSUE 31!

Mid-Afternoon, 21st October 2004: Wow, here we are at issue 30! If the comic was a marriage and issues were years, it'd be celebrating it's pearl wedding anniversary. But it isn't. So it's not. In other less bizarre news I darkened up the bookmark icon, another one of those laptop TFT screen faux pas's. Ah well. On with ISSUE 30!

Late Afternoon, 19th October 2004: What to say? Another day, another issue. We're nearly at 30 issues now, amazing really. So, without further delay, here's ISSUE 29.

Mid-Morning, 17th October 2004: In honour of my birthday yesterday (I am now twenty-three of your earth years old!), I've whipped up an issue in a slightly different style. I used the gorgeous new wooden ruler and 2b graphics pencil my parents gave me yesterday, and the style just seemed to flow out of them today. It'll probably be a one-off, but who knows, even over these short months my style has changed. The comic just keeps on growing and evolving, just like my hair and beard. I had a really great time yesterday, fun was had, friends were met, presents and money were forthcoming! It's good to enjoy birthday's again. And now, are you ready for something fantastic? Yes? Then here's ISSUE 28!

Mid-Morning, 15th October 2004: I've been having a bit of a rest from the computer the last couple of days, aside from the comic work. It's amazing to me how suddenly lost or stuck for things to do I was when I made that decision. Still, as Sheryl Crow sang.. "A change could do you good", and I think it has. And now, ISSUE 27.

Early Afternoon, 13th October 2004: A quick news update today: work on my personal site continues. Oh, and I added another site to the Links section. Here's ISSUE 26.

Early Evening, 11th October 2004: I put my new paint package to further use this week and darkened up Paulo's guest issue, Comic Without Roof, so that you can actually see it (now there's an idea eh?). While I was at it, I also touched up Rory's issue, Fruiti Tutti, to get rid of the dark patches that had shown through the paper when I scanned it. By way of apology, here's a new guest issue that Paulo drew while he was here in rainy ol' England called God Does Have Humour. Last, but not least, there's today's issue, drawn by my fair hand (and inspired by Rob - kudos to you, sir!). Here's ISSUE 25.

Mid-Afternoon, 9th October 2004: I thought I'd give you a little treat, so those of you with the browser capabilities should now see a little logo next to the URL/bookmark. It's not much, I know, so if anyone wants to send me a better one, please do! I'll give you a special mention. It needs to be 16x16 pixels I think. I've also added a few more Links. And, I've been at it again webcoding, this time working on a more personal site for myself, with interests and maybe some artwork on there. It'll be online in due time. Now, ISSUE 24.
