Early Morning, 17th September 2004: It's my brother's birthday today, so today's issue is in his honour. I'm off to Craig's house for a LAN event over the weekend, basically a load of us crammed into a house and playing network computer games together through the day and night (then day again?!). However, my enthusiasm for the comic has been so high this week that I'm ahead of schedule, and will have drawn the next issue ready to be uploaded from the LAN itself on Sunday. That said, Happy Birthday Rory, here's ISSUE 13.

Early Morning, 15th September 2004: I've decided that it would be cool to have space for comments on each issue of the comic, so I'm going to learn some MySQL to do it. It'll be a while, php'ing the site so it's easier for me to update is the priority, but then I'll get to that. I'm also going to add guest issues, either totally done by others, or dialogue given to me and me drawing them. I'm not sure yet whether to put them in a separate section, or have them in the normal progression of issues. It'll be a while, there'll be time to think about it. Another issue as well today. Ta-dah! ISSUE 12.

Mid-Afternoon, 13th September 2004: Another day, another issue. I'm borrowing Tiger Woods 2004 on the PS2 from my buddy Matt while he goes on holiday, so much of the rest of the week I will be playing that. Of course, I'll also be working on the comic, if you can call it work ;) Yesterday I got my carpet down in my bedroom, so it's certainly taking shape. I'm removed from there until the new carpet smell leaves it though. What fascinating news I write huh? Here's ISSUE 11.

Early Morning, 11th September 2004: Well, here I am again. With the bulk of the decorating behind me, I've had the chance to spend a relaxed amount of time on the comic, and on the php learning. The learning is very hit and miss, but I'm sure I'll get there in the end, and it'll be that much better for me to add things to the site. Here's ISSUE 10.

Early Evening, 9th September 2004: Phew! Just about managed to sort out an issue for today, keeping the every other day thing going. I've found it a bit of an effort this week, I'm wondering if maybe I should do them less often so I have more time to do them. I've finished the wallpapering in my room, so I should have more time again now though, so we'll see. I've also added news and archive links and the latest issue details to the homepage. Here's ISSUE 9!

Early Afternoon, 7th September 2004: What with me redecorating my bedroom over the past few days, I had to make a special effort to put time aside for the comic. It proved a most welcome and enjoyable break. I know. Me busy? Who would believe it? Continuing the new issue every other day thing I seem to have going on (which maybe I should make official... ), here's ISSUE 8!

Early Morning, 5th September 2004: Everyone notice the improved speed with the new webhosting? Nice eh. The learning of php has begun. I'm just reading about it and reading examples and letting it wash over me until it gains some kind of coherence, as is my way of learning these days. I'm really looking forward to it actally, especially the part where I get to add an issue with much less effort than how I have to do it now! And now the moment you've all been waiting for, Part 2 of 'It's A Big Wide World Out There'. Yep, that's right. Here's ISSUE 7!

Mid-Morning, 4th September 2004: I've bought my webhosting, and it's all set up now (I hope, anyway. It's complicated for a bluffer like me ;). Make sure you update your bookmarks for "www.abarefootman.co.uk".. though bookmarking the index2 [home] page is your best bet for frequent use. Apologies for anyone who tried to access the site while it was moving, I wasn't very prepared for it. You can press the refresh button now! Try it! I dare you! ;) You'll also be able to link to a specific issue when you inevitably share the humour with your friends. ISSUE 6 is still the latest issue. Until next time people...

Mid-Morning, 3rd September 2004: Well, that settles it. It's far too long and awkward to adjust the html as I have been each time I add a new issue, so I am definitely going to re-code the site in something fancy like php. To do so, I will of course need webhosting which supports it, so that has pretty much settled that one too. I'll sort out the hosting today, so soon you'll be able to see the paths when navigating the site. Hmm, of course, I will have to learn php.. that'll be fun. And now, ISSUE 6.

Early Morning, 1st September 2004: Welcome to September all you beautiful people. I saw ducks flying South a couple of days ago, Autumn is on it's way. This quicknav menu is getting more urgent; we're up to 5 issues now. :) And here's ISSUE 5.
